Fragments, Dorset Coast
2024

Fragments, Dorset Coast, was created along southern England’s Jurassic Coast, a prehistoric landscape where erosion and landslides continuously expose fossils and rock layers. Viewers can observe various degrees of scale—from towering cliffs to boulders to individual grains of sand—prompting contemplation on broader narratives of creation, destruction, and rebirth in the natural world. The division of the print into vertical strips, each floating in the frame, emphasizes the materiality of the image.
